An unbelievable experience. The villa was the perfect place to host 24 friends for a few days of exploring Tuscany and a vow renewal. The meals at the villa were fresh, delicious, and made the experience that much better. The views, pool, and tennis courts were great for a group. We did not want to leave!

We stayed at Villa Scopetello for 10 days to host and celebrate our wedding and the whole experience was really wonderful, i thoroughly recommend the location and high quality service. The house and grounds were beautiful and easily accommodated the 24 people we had staying over the week, everything was clean and comfortable. Sonja was just first class from the first planning sessions we had with her, all the way through the week to the very last day. She provided beautiful foods for us through the week, including a fabulous fresh oven pizza party and home-made pici pasta. For the wedding she organised a wonderful Prosecco reception and also organised the best local vendors for flowers, tents, dining, service & taxi companies. She also went above and beyond to help organise day trips to the local Brunello producing vinyards and wine shops in the area. As well as providing recommendations on the best sight-seeing. It was an excellent wedding experience we will remember forever.

Where do I start, first of all Michael and Sonia are amazing. My wife and myself spent 3 nights at Villa Scopetello for a wedding between 09/22/2017 and 09/24/2017. When we arrived in Sinalunga via train from Rome we contacted the groom to be and he in turn communicated with Michael and he made arrangements for our transfer to the Villa. When we arrived at the Villa my breathe was taken away by the scenery ( words cannot describe the beauty of the Tuscan region), later that night we had a pizza night where each guest prepared their own pizzas so that Michael could bake them in a fantastic wood burning oven that is adjacent to the outdoor terrace. The pizzas were delicious and also the novelty of the wine system that they have where a faucet is attached to the wall adjacent to the outdoor barnyard type of structure where the ovens are at where all you have to do is get up from your seat and walk over to the faucet and open it and the Vino is flowing into your cup, well that's just amazing. Anyway, the following day the wedding took place in a local quaint small church in Sinalunga and later the reception back at the Villa. The food, livations and the ambiance was amazing, they arranged for a DJ and even he and his music where fantastic. The following day on Sunday Sonia prepared breakfast for all of us approx 27 people and I have to tell you that her omelette is probably one of the best I have ever had not to mention the assortment of cheeses, ham, salamis and sopressata and also their breads including their juices. All in all this trip for us was just amazing I cannot stop talking to folks about this magnificent spot in the Tuscan hills called Villa Scopetello. Do yourself a favor and make arrangements to visit them there you will not regret it, I myself and my wife will most definitely be returning one day soon for some R and R. My recommendation to anyone is to fly into a near airport Perugia and rent a car and drive to the Villa approx 48 miles and enjoy the good food and the finest of wine and of course the spectacular Tuscan scenery. I want to personally thank Sonia and Michael for first of all discovering this Villa and offering it to the world and second of all for being the best of host that this US couple could have hoped for on their Tuscan trip.

Beautiful villa with a fantastic pool, multiple al fresco dining areas and balconies, huge fireplace, multiple kitchens with supplies, tennis court, ping pong table, you name it... Michael and Sonya, the caretakers, are amazing hosts. You can also pay them for an absolutely delicious homemade breakfast or dinner for your group with 24-hour notice. The location is fantastic as well - not far from many different sites such a Sienna, Montepulciano, Cortona, Assisi, etc.
